Whether you are applying for temporary entry or permanent residence, you need to be sure that the very first information and advice you receive is accurate, up-to-date and reliable.
It is a sad fact but true, that the international reputation of the immigration industry is one which has been tarnished by fraud and poor representation.
Naturally, this reflects poorly on those dedicated professionals who genuinely know what they are doing and have a passion for their work.
It is therefore our aim to provide clients with as much accurate information as possible, in an effort to give clients confidence and assurance, resulting in
success! Whether this free information provided upfront subsequently results in the engagement of our services, is determined by the individual, but at least
we know we have pointed them in the right direction.
Professional Service
Whilst many migrants engage our services for the security of having a professional service that allows them freedom to concentrate on the numerous other issues related to starting a new life in a new country, others do so because their circumstances are outside normal policy and they require specialist assistance including representation to the Residence Review Board, Removal Review Board or the Associate Minister of Immigration.
In addition, now that immigration policy (particularly the Skilled Migrant Category) has become more prescriptive in nature, more and more applicants find themselves ineligible because of an overly rigid interpretation and application of policy by the immigration authorities
Migrant Protection
ILA has been a full member of the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment (NZAMI) since ILA’s establishment in 1999. To date this has been the only registration body governing the immigration industry in New Zealand. Clients of NZAMI registered members are protected by the Associations Code of Ethics.
As at 4 May 2009 however, regulation of the immigration industry will also become the responsibility of the New Zealand government in order to ensure that migrant’s interests are protected. Jay Shadforth is currently in the process of gaining her Immigration Adviser Licence.
