We asked people attending the 2007 Seminars for comments on what they thought of the presentations. The comments where overwhelmingly positive and we have had the chance to meet many of these people again following their arrival in New Zealand. At one coffee morning in October 2007 we had 5 families from the Manchester Seminars come in to our offices in Christchurch!
Here is a small selection of what we were told by people attending the 2007 seminars: Chris, SW Wales "I enjoyed the personal touch of the seminar and its family style presentation. The personal touch provided by Mike Tammy and the girls was very relevant to my desire to emigrate, to improve our family lifestyle. It also allowed attendees to chat to each other easily and your efforts to answer all questions made it a great success. Much more relevant than the large, glossy "expo" presentations... Thanks again guys" Emma-Louise, Derby "It was a fantastic insight into the "been there done it". You can never beat the advice from people who have experienced the migration and moving process for themselves." Lesley, Dover "We had a great time, meeting Mike and Tammy and exchanging information with complete strangers who all had the same thing in common - a desire to move to NZ. Many thanks for taking the time, trouble and expense to give us a picture of life in NZ and what we can do to make things better." Sharon, Croydon "Hard to think of how you could have done anything else to make it better. You have helped to answer so many questions and the experiences shared from real migrants was a real bonus. Thank you so much for all your hard work." Corinne, Leeds "Thank you so much Mike, Tammy, Rebekah, Natalie and Emma. This seminar was just what we needed. You gave us the extra confidence to move things along in our move to NZ. There were no rose tinted glasses. All straight to the point advice. Thanks and see you soon in Christchurch!" Mike, East Sussex "Thought Mike's presentation was great with lots of practical advice and tips on how to "oil the machine" as it were, especially on the job front. He provided many valuable ideas of which we were unaware and these are likely to save time (and worry) later on. Thought that Ian (NZIS) was excellent with a good amount of general information on visa information and requirements balanced with his dry sense of humour."
Justin & Roz, Salisbury "I left with a big smile on my face! - a most helpful afternoon, especially the section on family left behind and immigration. Thank you." Sue, Hertfordshire "Gave a really good overview with enough detail in the areas I needed. really focussed on the things I needed to know. Covered more than I expected it to, and longer than I thought it would be." |
